Dungeons & Dragons Online

New postby Bill » Mon Feb 27, 2006 8:21 pm

The boxed game runs $40-50. From what I've read on the forums, the monthly fee will be $15.

I plan on giving it a whirl after the new system is up and screaming...I mean, running. 8)

I go back and forth on it. I'll probably try it.

I am unsure.
And, I have a Dragon encounter plus all the trip to finish planning.

Got me.

I think he's referring to regular D&D since he just got back from a trip and might have seen a dragon in Florida or confused an alligator for one.

Only slightly off-topic. We'll let him slide. Must be tired.

OK, I have D&D Online.

I currently have the following characters:

Chromium Warmachine
Warforged Barbarian
World of Aundair

Celenna Greenstar
Elvin Sorcerer
World of Aundair

So far, it's blue-screened my PC twice (something that no other software has ever done on this system, running WinXP). However, it looks like the culprit may be my audio driver. I'll reduce my audio settings until I update it and see what happens.

Yep, it was my audio driver, not the game.

The jury is still out.

I'm just kinda' burnt out on fantasy, even D&D. I want a SciFi MMORPG, damn it!

Besides, I can't make a mostly naked female toon.

Maybe we should switch to EVE Online then.
