Update on Jhenna's armor

Full dwarven plate +2 (AC= -1, Full plate provides AC=1 base)

Matching helm of brilliance (Drops AC to -3)
Acts as a double strength ring of fire resistance
Magiked Gems (casting destroys them; See DMG for casting level):
10 Diamonds (Prismatic Spray)
20 Rubies (Wall of Fire)
30 Fire Opals (Fireball)
40 Opals (Light --- DO NOT USE ALL OF THESE ---)
Note: once all are cast, helm loses ALL powers
Helm glows blue when undead are within 30ft (damages them)
Can command any sword owned to become a Sword of Flame (no limit)
"Produce Flame" as a 5th level Druid
Cannot augment the fire resistance ability by ANY means.

Dinner party over.

Team going to Kheldrivver near the Warlock's Crypt.

You'll be leaving in three days.
Retainers, draftsmen and wagons of your stuff need
to be packed.

You'll be protecting the hamlet from Demons, possibly Undead,
and of course the hamlet's traditional enemies...trolls.

Trip should take 3 rides (1 rides equals 10 days)

Please find your characters and start updateing.

You might want to talk to Bob about party treasure and
what you could have bought.( Note to Bob prices used to be 4 times
Players, most items can be purchased for 2 times if not magical)
If you want magical, still four times unless you negotiate with me.

Curt will be heading into Undermountain for a special quest, Please get
supplies for Curt for once he joins you.

Umm, Okay the DM is a bastard. You characters get summoned the next day
to Blackstaff Tower and are told to bring as much as you can carry. Each of you
gets 20 minutes to dress for adventuring and make it to the tower.

Once at Blackstaff Tower, the Lady Mage Laurel (one of the seven sisters)
tells you she will be sending you to a glade near a known waystop that a
Caravan is waiting for you to be the guards of. It is three days out of
Khelddrivver where the Current Hamlet's guardians will take over for you.
The Caravan is carry supplies the Company of the Flaming Fist (the mercanary army that will be fighting the main demon horde) will need.

She asks if you have any questions before she casts her spell?


Grabs and augments standard kit, sends off appropriate written intructions
to all the appropriate places, flys out the door...

Initial questions submitted by K & K:

LML: What Demon hoard ? Where is it ? How close will we be going ?

LML: What Demons & other does this hamlet face ?

LML: What is expected after the supplies are handed over ?

Remember, we are now expected to arrive three days ride from our
goal yet our supplies and hirelings would not arrive for 30 days.

LML: Can she provide any tatical suggestions to combat the Demons ?

DM: Do Kitten's planar travels give her any additional insight ?

God: Why do I keep hitting the tab key to no avail ?

Even if you don't get to go thru The Book of Radiance.

Jeri needs to Read Bob's Posting on Animals on Page 9 of this
thread towards the bottom of that page. F*** has special contacts
thru His Family to have specially trained Heavy Warhorse and if
she has F*** spend the time this would be a great horse for F***.

Bypassing Magic Resistance
Both of these are on going and not near completion

Thru Teak's contact, Lord Sunflower, anyone who wants to, can
read and take notes from the D&D source book I have. Lord Sunflower is
very generous in giving his personal briefings (or copies) to Teak.

First two questions:

The Demon Horde appears to be heading south to Balder's Gate, it is HUGE.

She excuses herself, comes back 10 minutes later with a Tome of Demon
lore, which she gives to Keta saying this is a good guide to Demons but
not everything is completely accurate. (Ask Bill how you qualified for this.)

After you hand over the supplies, the local Head of the Order of the Binder
will give you a breakdown of what is going on in the area and what they
hope you will be able to do. (Order of the Binder, ie Monestary dedicated
ot Oghma.){If they find you have copy spell, they will be pissed}

For game reference, the Demon guide is the entries on the Tanari in the
Monster manuals. DM does reserve the right to chage some things, of course.

I assume you do not require her skills as a rouge. Hmm, this gets complicated.

source of her blade. Remember, those of true evil nature feel discomfort around her.
Not like a Paladin's aura. More like "minor annoyance evil 5'r :mrgreen: 10 minutes in the wrong
bar is a guaranteed barfight. Bring your brass.

She spent 60 years running around the planes (mostly Arborea with her Eladrian kin). It is just
possible there are things worse than Dracoliches pissed at her.


You got to love it. I pick this to run with, then Wizards comes out with two revised
editions that stomp all over the area. :bang:

The little evil toe sticker...

"T'noth Dra" Bastard Sword of the planes (priceless)
Kitten's Primary Melee Weapon

This named/unique bastard sword was a parting gift from her father and his
people. It is unlike anything they normally forge and was made specifically
for Kitten. While not of ancient in origin, the blade is of artifact quality.

A truly exeptional bastard sword of mithril alloy construction. The strange
allow has a forest green hue to it. The blade features gold and gem inlay of
Eladrin script (prayer for victory over evil) and flowing geometric designs.
The blade's grip is a wrapping of an exotic red leather. The hilt features a
highly detailed carving of some unknown beast (?). The bade is 2" wide at the
guard and tapers to 1" near the tip. The scabbard is made of the same exotic
red leather reinforced by the same strange mithril alloy.

+1 on prime material plane
+2 on inner planes or when used vs. opponents from the inner planes
+3 on outer planes or when used vs. 0pponents from the outer planes
+4 on Ethereal plane or when used vs. opponents from the ethereal plane
+4 on Astral plane or when used vs. opponents from the astral plane


Intelligent (Chaotic Good) weapon (INT 13, with empathy)
Sword may "Heal" once per day
Sword has detect evil 10'r
EGO would be 13 + 4 + 3 or 20 vs. 19 + 16 + 10 or 45
This is not a special purpose weapon, but does not like evil
especially things from the lower planes. Empathy indicates
it feels good to slay such things. Feels kinda sad slaying
Chaotic good creatures, but rather indiffrent to anything
else. The sword enjoys nature (especially the forest of
Arborea), but is indifferent to cities and dungeons.

The green component of the mithril allow would be something common on the
plane of Arborea yet rare elsewhere. By the nature of the pluses, one assumes
the blade was enchanted on the Astral plane. Making this bastard sword one
rather unique blade.

Lady Haven also has several (3) permenate magical tattoos. of Eladrin design.

(1) Animated tattoo of a kitten on her upper right arm
(her namesake). The kitten is a small fuzzy white
furball with blue eyes (Siamese like). The tattoo
is ringed by a geometric design, which frames the
window into the fuzzy one's little world.

(2) Geometric designs in various shades of red and orange
on her lower back. Colors shift/flow overtime within the
pattern (taking days to make a complete cycle). This one
acts as a ring of fire resistance. Of course, the protection
extends to worn/held items.

(3) Behind her left ear hidden by hair, strange runes
in blues, greens and gold encircled by a geometic
design. Provides mental focus/recall (INT + 1)

Kitten has spent several years with them, but has not seen them much in the past decade,
but they do stop by from time to time.

Any other planar contacts would be very unlikely. These four also have knowledge of
her heritage, which keeps them polite and reasonable. In their case, trouble could
bring the wrath of her Eladrin family, which could kick even their collective butts in
a heartbeat. Something about 12d8 chain lighting every round sounds painful.

Here only Kaos Winters would be of use...and I don't think Bill can roll high enough for that :roflmao:
