AH vacation

New postby nofeedbak » Tue Aug 03, 2004 6:20 pm

I am just getting in from two weeks in Tennessee. I really needed this one. Last summer I broke my foot on vacation and did not take winter time off to save up days. So in effect no real stress relief for a year. Let me tell you going 45 mph on a beautuful tennessee lake can do wonders for the soul. :D

Wave runner or Jet ski?

I was on a Wave runner in northern Washington last week.
Great fun, especially when you roll it!

Just an 18 foot ski boat with a large block 8 cylinder engine. We were not getting passed by the jet skiers.

These lakes are part of the Tennessee valley Authority lakes. So I was on the Dam Lake. I this we explore pretty much the whole Dam Lake.

"Aaaargghhhh! Vacation!"

That's what happens when your vacation involves visiting the in-laws.

You're supposed to let her do that alone.

Of course... my in-laws are about to visit me, much to my displeasure, so I shouldn't talk.

Yeah, I try to do that as often as possible. Every other year or so, I am expected to accompany. :x

Good, that means next year you can come visit me in Alaska. I recommend mid-June; that way you can experience 21 hours of daylight and 3 hours of Dusk/Dawn.

We can stay at my brother's cabin in Moose Pass, go Halibut fishing in Seward, drink beer and smoke cigars.

I've got a spare bedroom for you Bud.

But, Maggie likes to snuggle whoever's in their.
Just thought you should know.

Maggie's a sweetie. I'll snuggle with her. :)

Actually, I'm going to try to be in Oregon that week.

I think Bill's jealous.
Fondly remembering those days in 213 before George and I moved in, Bill?
