Well, I got my reply from PlayNC:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting PlayNC Support! The game has officially launched and since you do not have your Collector's Edition added to your account you will be unable to access your villains. Please contact your local retailer to inquire about the current status of your retail version of City of Villains. If you require further assistance please feel free to contact us again.

At least they had balls enough to tell me to go piss up a rope in person.

Does this mean you can't have Dragon Lord and the others? That blows!

I sent PlayNC a nasty-gram about how dissapointed I was in their customer service. It would have cost them absolutely nothing to give me a 14-day trial code to avoid interruption in service. (I was already paying the monthly fee and had already purchased the damn game.) In fact, that's what they should have done with the pre-release pack. Give new players just enough time to get hooked and existing CoH players enough time to get to the store or have their game delivered.

Unfortunately, nobody can spell "customer service" in this country any more.

RE: Flames of Oblivion's base...

Flames' base now has working work benches if you care to experiment with your salvage.

Received a "Holiday Jet Pack" while on one of my villains tonight. 30 day use of a no-endurance flight power. The pack looks gay as hell though. White with red and green trim burping out little colorful bubbles behind it that look like elf farts or something.
