When?

Your adventures were always pretty strange.
Good.
Very engaging.
But, strange.
I bow to the Master.

Bob,

What have I missed from the Game?
Did I identify the Treasure for you?

Thanks,
Jeff

Fluffy kittens of death

Woo hoo

From the other thread

Thanks again for hosting a fun session (and the cool gift).

RECAP of 12/27/2003 session

(1) Necromancer "Adder Trask" escaped. Charmed guy ran off and it
appears Erg converted one or two. No other survivors from the evil
temple.

(2) We desecrated the evil alter and destroyed all the evil related stuff.
However, did we do anything about the portal into undermountain ?

(3) "Colsten Rhuul" is dead and apparently the "Enforcement and
Assassination branch of Xanathar's Guild" crushed. Bet thats going to make
Xanathar's day We have Pascal open another gateway into the plane
of fire and drop his body, armor(s), mace and any other nasty evil stuff
into the portal (all destroyed). Hee hee, not going to be a simple task to
raise that lackey.

(4) We store that nasty "cloak of fangs" for later use. Its a nasty area of
effect weapon (1 shot) which we would not normally use (as good people).
Of course, we identify the keyword.

(5) Treasure: Wand, which we identify as ???? Jeff?
Keta remembered to bag the wands off the magic users.

(6) Treasure: Wand, which we identify as ???? Jeff?

(7) Treasure: 18 platinum holy symbols, dispelled/de-eviled and melted down into
a pair of platinum trade bars worth 50pp (100pp total). This is placed in
the party strongbox, which is stored in someone's bag of holding. Vlad's?

(8 ) Treasure: 25 gold trade bars worth 50gp each (1250gp total),
which we also toss in the party strongbox.

(9) Treasure: 75 waterdavian double moons worth 5gp each (375gp total),
which we also toss in the party strongbox.

(10) Treasure: Mixed gems worth 110,015gp, Kitten will grade and bag
these. Does the DM wish to be specific or should I just make them up ?

(11) Treasure: Small box of "smoke powder". Enough to make three 3d6
devices. Who wants to deal with this one ?

(12) Treasure: Three Paintings appraised at 80,000-90,000gp each.
Kitten will ask her guild and family if they know of any art thefts which
match these. DM??? If nothing and the two Nobles in the party do no
recognize them, I guess we sell them (Kitten can handle any sale).

(13) Treasure: 4 or 5 chest of stolen goods, which Erg returns (or at least
attempts to return). Fine with kitten assuming she gets to sell 240-270K gp
in art, which raises a few questions: (a) What is the exact value ? (b) What
percentage of the exact value can she get ? (c) what is the subject of the
paintings ? (d) are they magical (I assume no) ? Otherwise,
she would feel a little sad that they did all that work.

"Colsten Rhuul" is dead and apparently the "Enforcement and
Assassination branch of Xanathar's Guild" crushed.

At least part of this is not true. Colsten Rhuul is alive. Pascal has talked to him recently... in person. A mind scan has verified his identity and the truth of what he told Pascal. The priest the party killed was a usurper, posing as Rhuul. Pascal will have other interesting and related info to tell the party if Jeff will remind me of it. ;)

(11) Treasure: Small box of "smoke powder". Enough to make three 3d6 devices. Who wants to deal with this one ?

Pascal will certainly handle that.

(13) Treasure: 4 or 5 chest of stolen goods, which Erg returns (or at least attempts to return).

Erg will do his best to identify rightful owners. The party may have to out-smart him to get any of this ill-gotten loot.

5. Wands: Lightning, 39 charges, Activation word: Blast
6. Wands: Polymorphing, 31 charges, activation: Word: blatherskite, followed imeaddiately by the change to take place, i.e. blatherskitesnail.

10. You go Bob.

11. ???

12. No one recognizes paintings and selling not a problem. Total amount for paintings at auction are 241,000 gp. Better then thru underground, which is offering about 1/2.(Subject, Didn't make this up. Magic, no.)

13. Bud answered this one. Bud, roll percentiles. If you get above 55%, then you find all the previous owners. If not, then you must decide what to do with remainder.
Unless, the party has something else they want to do?
(Where are Icky 7 Puck when you want something stolen?)
