That sucked! But, hey, I was able to get most of my own corpses back. Thanks for the assist though. Wish I'd have gotten ahold of you much earlier. Better yet, wish I'd just gone to bed on time and skipped the stupid goblin camp. We're gonna have to go back there and kick some goblin ass!

Curt, we were briefly talking about Warrior skills last night. Here is more info for you:
    Lvl....Skill
6.......Bash (smash w/shield, chance to stun)
6.......Dodge (improve your AC, avoid hits)
    10.....Parry
13.....Dual Wield (use a weapon in each hand...more attacks)
15.....Double Attack (chance to double hit with primary weapon)

You have to go to your trainer (warrior guildmaster in Oggok for Zummok) to train at least one practice point in each skill when you reach the specific level. Each level you gain 5 more skill points. Use them. The skills will then improve with use when in battle. Make sure to create a hotkey for Bash as it's a manual attack. The others are automatic.

There are numerous others (skills, disciplines). Explore http://eq.crgaming.com/menu/warrior.asp to learn more.

She's already 7th! (Can you say power leveling?)

I think I'm gonna have her swap weapons with Zhadum. He's got that Polished Owlbear Beak and he can use the staff.

(It's funny how all the boys want to help her. I had a 33'rd lvl monk falling all over himself to PL her.)

Power Leveling?

Maybe it is time for a Female Character.

Had a great time last night guys. We need to do that again soon and get us all to 15th level. I saw some guy PL'ing while I was lost. He had some high level guy buffing him and he was killing red guys........he was a teal color to me. When does my damage done go up? I seem to be capped out a 20 damage. Do I need a different weapon?

Curt

BTW, I got Taunt to (3) just by trying it every fight.

Yeah, good session.

I've heard that the damage cap goes off at lvl 20. I've also heard that it changes at lvl's 10, 20, and 30. So I don't really know where or what it is, but I'm fairly certain there is one.

All this talk about PL'ing... :?

How about just enjoying the game, first and foremost? The higher levels get you into tougher zones. But, take it from me, don't rush through your levels. There are significant detriments to it. Most prominent is lack of skill increases. If you level too fast, your skills will not increase in proportion. When skills do not increase, you may have a 25th level character with 15th level spell-casting or fighting skills.

Twinking, on the other hand, keeps you alive longer and still promotes skillups, albeit a form of power-leveling.

Speaking of which...Curt, Vonalevu has forged a full set of Fine Plate Armor for Zummok. Ready for you when we can hook up in-game. 8)

LOL, FSP

Shinny little Ogre, eh

Don't forget those newbie armor quests (no plat required). Not much AC,
but they have stats. However, I never did those for an Ogre.
