How does Sunday the 2nd sound?

Well, I have a dentist appointment 12/28, so I'm halfway there.

While I can slip away, officially I'm only off on Fri (12/24, 12/31)

Sun 1/2 ok if starting very early. I work Monday, so I would bail by 8-ish.
Ok to run late on 12/27, 12/30, 12/31 and 1/1.

Otherwise, have fun.

OK Curt,

If we are making up a 3rd ed character, any news on the parameters ?
Like level 1st, 3rd ??? Restrictions ?

I found a premade that is for 2nd level characters. Keep to within what is in the PH (no 'special' publications) since I am still fairly fresh on the new rules.

The 2nd is really pushing it, but is do-able for me. I think Saturday night might be better if everyone has recovered from Friday.

So, at the moment we appear to have...

The Jeff 2nd ed session:
Date: Thursday 12/30/2004
Location: Bud's
Time: ??????

The Curt 3rd ed experiment (or Jeff  ):
Date: Saturday 1/1/2004
Location: Bud's
Time: ??????

Can we narrow down the time ?

Can Curt provide more background for character generation ?
Will this take place mostly: Underground ? In the wilderness ?
In city/town ? On the sea ?

I was thinking Gnome Rogue1/Ranger1, but they have low light
vision only. Like Humans, they would need some "Dark vision
goggles" for those underground adventures

BTW I did call Caroline and give her a heads up. Hope she is
having a good Birthday :D

Hey Meow Factory ~

Curt is allowing us lvl 4 single-class characters. The elements of the adventure have not been disclosed, so quit asking. :P

We (Jeff, Bud, Curt) are getting together at my house tonight for basic character construction. No specific time has yet been set. Just come on over if you're available. We could use whatever knowledge of 3.5 you might have. I am pondering a wizard or sorcerer. Jeff hinted at a bard. Bud and Jerri both mentioned fighters. But nothing decided for certain yet.

Happy Birthday, Caroline.

Curt is allowing us lvl 4 single-class characters.

Nice, thats news to me. I'll have to start over  Last info I had was
he had a pre-made for 2nd level characters.

Hmmm, no details. What about magic items and starting equipment ?

I assume we are still limited to the PHB (and maybe DMG, which
has some class info not included in the PHB). Not that I have a
number of other 3rd edition books. Too many to bring anyway

Well, thats limited to books, which we can't use 8)

Of course, you were no help with game times
