Thanks again for driving. :drive:

My pleasure, well... except for that backup North of LA, otherwise... it was great!

BTW: Sorry for about that brief scare over the rapidlyapproaching taillights. It was stupid and dangerious, but I had to beat Curt's record. ;)

No problem. Friends forgive each other. 8)

Besides, you're the one who has to clean out the passenger seat. :P

Here's a few pics! (Also available from my main page, under "Races".)

Be sure to check back, I'll have some video later.

BTW: let me know what you think of the display format. I'm experimenting with a SW package called Picassa, available free from Google.

Very nice, Bud! Picassa has a very good format.

Too bad the R-10 came out blurry. :(

But the rest of the pics are great!

I liked the corkscrew the best.

If I were in the car as it topped that hill, I'd have to swallow
my heart back into my chest because I'm sure it would want to leap out of my chest.

Bud, am I overly optimistic in suggesting, should you lose your current job, you could be a videographer for Speedvision? 8)
Nice job. Good memories. :drive:

I doubt they'd be willing to meet my salary requirements, but thanks.

I was at the top of the corkscrew last year during the parade lap. We weren't at race speed, but we were doing about 40 or 50. You can't see shit from up there, nothing but sky before you plunge down the hill. It's fookin' awesome!

OK, one more update. I'm still experimenting with different software. This is a Java photo album generated by software called jAlbum.

ALMS Finals 2006 Album

You can do a slide show (automated or manual), view the videos, and (as a bonus) I've added a couple of new panoramic shots. When you click on the thumbnails, you can see the bigger pics. When you click on the bigger pics, you either go back to the thumbnails or you go to a MUCH bigger pic. Try it. The panoramics are rockin'.
