The funny thing is that the fans are all offended by the wing.

Quote from a Tommy Kindall test drive episode of the new Ford Fusion.

While talking to Steve Loyd, director of operations at Roush Fenway Racing (the team who builds Ford Fusion look alikes for NASCAR racing).

Kendall
Let's talk about comparing [the NASCAR] to the road car. What with the Ford Fusion translates [between the road car and the NASCAR].

I've noticed on the puking
Emoticon that he spews
out of his nose also.
I wonder if it burns his
nose also?
That would be a punishment
from hell.
To be ever spewing and having your nose burn also.
OUCH!

From a NASCAR commercial:

What does Watkins Glen mean?

"It means giving both pedals a work out."

Both pedals?

Both pedals.

Well, when you go in a circle
you don't need to brake so much
as downshift???

Watkins Glen is a road course. So, the implication was that they'd give both the brake and the throttle a workout at that course. Which would have to mean that the cars don't have a clutch or they have an automated clutch like an F1 car (which would really surprise me).

Can you imagine a race car with an automatic slush-box transmission?
