Really? Bud had an affinity for a noble gas? Does this mean that Bud's chemical makeup consists of mostly Fluorine?

Awesome!

I'd say more of a middle-class gas, with aspirations of nobility

(by which we all know Bud is full of)

I prefer to think of them as delusions of grandure.

BTW: Anybody remember where we left on in B5?

When last we left Babylon 5, it was about a technical discussion about the mechanism for creating the spin, thus providing for simulated gravity.

From there it progressed to a comparison of the relative "spirituality" of various Sci-Fi TV shows, which quickly sequed into sillyness.

Bud, who was Xenon?

This recap was brought to you by the folks at Austin Control Central, "Where the Future was Yesterday."

As I mentioned, Xenon was a major obsession in Bud's formative years. Xenon could almost always be found at the mall, giving him highly satisfied and satisfying moans when pressing her buttons repeatedly as long as he had the cash for it.

I wouldn't call her an obsession, just a passing fling... a phase I went through. Besides, Bill was better at pushing her buttons then I was. He could aways hit her groan tube. I occasionally missed.

OK, I can't stand it any more. Xenon was a pinball game. I did a little search and found some incredible stuff.

Get a load of this page: http://www.sevwave.com/early_ciani/ciani_xenon/xfiles/xenon.html

There's even a semi-pornographic close up of "the groan tube".

And I discovered something I never knew: Suzanne Ciani was the voice of Xenon. Download the wave files on this page: http://www.sevwave.com/early_ciani/ciani_xenon.html. The file Xen001.wav (inside the zip file) is the sound she made when made a "tube shot".

I think I'm in love all over again. :D

The GROAN TUBE

Yes, I was responsible for many a ball to roll through that tight hole. But I'll tell you, every time I did it, it felt good. I'm not afraid to admit it! No.

Bud, put Mr Happy back in your pants!
