My vote is yes, Jeff is a dink. As evidence, I present the fact that he has not been to this board despite being asked several times to check it. I also present that we've asked him when the next B5 night should be, but he hasn't responed. Additionally, I present that he, a living breathing DM, seems to be jealous of a computer game. Why would an actual DM ever think that his faithful players would prefer an automated game over his personal creations?

Jeff, we love ya', but you're a dink.

Opposing opinions will be given equal representation.

Yes, he qualifies for heavy dinkage.

From the evidence, it appears that Jeff is indeed, a Dink.

Hopefully, Jeff is not a Twit; so far, my Twit Alarm has not gone off. Just ask Bill, he can tell you just how finely tuned my Twit Alarm is.

F.Y.I. A "Twit" is an agreed upon term (well, I started using it, and everybody I play with has quickly started to use it.) that we use for people that we've run across in EQ that are not team players.

Examples:

Ninja Looters

Players who convince the party to play in a location of their choosing, and upon arrival, drop out of the group.

Players who join an LDoN mission, and 15 minutes into the mission say they have to go.

Failure to play does not make Jeff a Twit, you have to actively participate in order to be a Twit. It appears that Jeff is passive, relegating him to Dink status.

If you're ever playing with me and you hear me say in a private channel, "beep beep beep beep..." that's my Twit Alarm going off.

:P

It's true. Lyle's TR (Twit Recognition) is uncanny.

Jeff does not qualify as a twit. He is thoughtful of others, leaving him out of that category.

For reasons given above by Bud, for the moment at least, Jeff does indeed qualify as a Dink.

Ah, but he is confused by another definition. So I guess I need to clarify.

DINK (Dual Income, No Kids) is an acronym.

Dink is a noun. For now, we can leave the description above stand as a definition unless someone wants to provide one.

Only a dink would think Dink means "DINK".

Yet I admit, I thought his conversion was quite funny. :P

As for me, I prefer "DING!"

Jeff is a dink in all respects.

Just admit it and move on.

BTW, I will have LDoN when I get back. I should be able to stay on for at least 15 min. :)

Oh so cruel.

Hey, I was just DINKing with my level 41 necromancer just the other
night :P

So, why don't you all talk Jeffy into DMing another session sometime
soon (or even responding with XP from the last session). Although, I'm
not exactly sure how many characters retired since then...

That's a great idea! Unfortunately, he's being a dink about the whole thing. Thus the poll.

With no opposing opinions given and a confession received in E-mail, the decision stands.

Jeff, you're a dink!

Poll is closed.
