How many years since you started doing it?

Classy Jeff. 22 years if you can believe it. I was only five years old at the time of course.

So, Bud really was a cradle robber.

RE: Classy???
It wasn't like this anniversary was one for
a large ceremony or even bystanders if
I remember correctly. It was, shall we say,
a VERY private affair. And, I did not choose
the date, I just respect it as both your and
Buds choice.

You and George were almost bystanders if I recall. :) It is the one that means the most to us too. And as Bud said, it was a very valid and legitimate place to begin counting from in times gone by in the marriage tradition if the couple were committed and stayed together. Just without the ceremony and paper at that time for us. Or words to that effect. I had worded this better but accidently deleted it somehow and it is 2:00 in the morning and tired so I'll go with that.

By the by, thanks for the well wishes. At least it is a date that is easy to remember, though I'm not sure what it being 'a day that will live in infamy' says about us.....

Then it wasn't the one Dallas and I (and Chase) attended. Didn't figure it was since you were talking 22 yrs ago.

I must have been five-and-a-half, then.

Isn't that the traditional way you measure it?

You modern society types. :P

Curt will be here in less than 2 weeks. We have to be sure to have at least 1 "guy's night out", maybe 2 while he's here.

Audrey and I are preparing a
Mexican themed dinner.

Items will be present then,
ie, I don't get to tell the menu.

Well, we knew that already.

Jerri will have to tell you the story of my own Xmas idiocy. I'd hate to be left out. :)
