Thank you, Bill, for that little shot of reality. I'd have to agree with you.

I have no idea what that means, but it sounds funny.

I have an idea as to what it takes to enhance a cupcake
with bourbon, but why would you do that?

It wouldn't make it taste any better.

I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy the rest of the show.

Not that it was bad or unenjoyable. I just tired of Daniels aggravated, disagreeable character primarily.

Everybody kissed his ass or hated him (which was easier to buy). But as a news anchor, he wasn't "real" (again, my opinion).

Other little "meh's", too. But just me being critical. Other than that, quite good.

Oh, the love story was a tad contrived, too.

I don't know if his character will get better or not, but I do think that is part of the journey the show will go through. And, I
do believe that this aspect of his character is based on too many encounters that Aaron Sorkin has had with the media, I do
not mean news although they pretend to be, big wigs.

But as a news anchor, he wasn't "real" (again, my opinion).

I respect your opinion. His protrayal of the material fascinated me.
The attempt to remain impartial and unemotional when the circumstance warrented a fierce emotional response made
me wonder why this contrived story, which in hindsight reflects so badly on us as a nation as the level of intensity that
this Fiction stirs up or should, was not reflected in our own media/news until almost a week later as I remember it.

Oh, the love story was a tad contrived, too.

Uumm, whose love story?? Okay went back and rewatched episode, so are you talking about the budding
romance with the mousey blond and the guy she brought with her who broke the story or the betrayal storyline
between Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer? Or both?

As am aside; Have you ever seen "Good Night and Good Luck"?

Actually, I identified quite closely with his character. I understand very well what it's like to be disenchanted with an industry and profession to which you've practically dedicated your life. As a professional, I do my best to not let my own disgruntled attitude prevent others (and occasionally, even myself) from doing excellent work. But, I rarely expect things to work out (mostly because they so rarely do). So, I understand why he's such a disagreeable character.

Daenerys Targaryen is the most interesting character
so far to me, this season. Wow.

True! But, I also wonder what they're up to with John Snow. And, something interesting is going to happen with Tyrian too.

He's going to marry the Stark girl, have his incest spawned nephew killed,
use the dragons and army she has brought to save the kingdom from the
white walker, which will result in his fathers, sisters adn brothers death.

Of course, I could be wrong.

LOL! That sounds like a "happy" ending. It definitely has to be wrong.
