TV & Movies

New postby Bud » Mon Oct 02, 2006 9:18 pm

OK, I think we need a thread to discuss interesting TV & Movies. We've had discussions scattered around the board, so I thought I'd start a thread on the topic.

To start the discussion, I'd like to mention a show that has lpeasantly surprised me. Have any of you been watching "Heroes"? So far, I think they're doing a really good job of it. If you haven't seen it, I'm going to try to catch the replays on TiVo. Check the listings if you want to try to catch it or maybe we can get together. Try to watch them in order, it'll mess it up if you see them out of order.

I caught the last half of last night’s show of "Heroes". It was enough to get my attention, however. It looks interesting a little like x-men meets dark angel. I plan on trying to catch the upcoming episodes and see where they take the story line.

Somebody help me out here. I've been wracking my brains trying to recall the Vulcan response to "Live long and prosper."

It's only been said in the series/movies once or twice, but there is one, I just know it.

I don't recall ever hearing a response.

Just on a whim, I watched an episode of Star Trek yesterday, and to my supprise they remasterd the damn thing and added some very good special fx. Looks like a whole new show. :P
