Now, we need to lobby to get a new program started.
The Shuttles are antiquated.
We need a new design, new materials, new everything.
If not America, who?

YES!

But, we still need a new model.

Bud, BTW, congress has blocked all attempts to let
american private industry have access to space.

Doesn't seem reasonable. But I wouldn't put it past Congress.

Jeff is, right now, in Florida.

NASA is planning to launch its space shuttle Atlantis in Cape Canaveral, Florida on Wednesday.

Jeff, when you return, PLEASE tell us you went to see the launch. Don't have an excuse why you didn't go. Have grabbed that proverbial bull by the horns, seized the day, and be the one of us (besides Stanford) who has seen one go up LIVE!

Hear that dragon roar!

 Green with envy!

You know there's not a snowball's chance in hell that the wife will have let him go.

Hell, I was at Key West a few years ago, but that was before I knew you were in Florida.

Next time I'm there, we'll get together for a beer.
