I watched Atlantis' liftoff. So bittersweet.

I sincerely hope the private sector takes space exploration and runs with it. Surely, it's a low-point in NASA's history to be renting space for our astronauts aboard Russian spacecraft. :x

I blame the total and utter lack of good hard Sci Fi in today's movies and books.

Mark, Johny who? That sounds like something that is WAAAY before my time. :)

You all know I'm a software engineer, right? I have (almost) nothing to do with space. (Although, now that I think abkut it, several people I work with did design a satellite that's orbiting the planet right now. Hmm...)

And, yes, Bill can be Bud's slighty balding Race to Bud's unable
to grow a goatie Dr Quest.

Besides, i'll need Mark to be my muscle for the backdoor political
intrigue and career sabotage.
