I wonder if we'll see a return to space flight in our time.

I think we will. Other countries are now very involved in the ISS. Perhaps our competitive spirit will keep us in the game.

On her final flight launched yesterday, shuttle Endeavour will install the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a particle physics device that will help researchers study the formation of the universe and search for evidence of dark matter and antimatter.
