BUD'S TURNING 40!!!

New postby Bill » Wed Oct 06, 2004 1:01 pm

Just wanted to let everyone know that our dear friend, Mr. Caldwell, has a mid-life crisis to enter into (may be there already). Womenopause?

On Friday, October 15th, poor Bud officially sheds his 30's. Age, not belt size. <39 = tick tick tick tick...>

Is that a happy little buzz you've got there?

Happy B-day next Friday (it also being my nieces 2nd). When she's old enough I will tell her of the legend that is Bud (esp. in his own mind)

38 and 10 months. I had originally made myself a promise that at 40 I would do that healthy lifestyle crap that all the doctors tell you to do. So to that end I intended on eating pretty much whatever I wanted till then. Well, my job (the army) found a new and unique way to UP that timetable. They bought a new height/weight scale. The old scale measured me at 5'11" which allowed a nice 194 pounds. I had no problem with that and in fact enjoyed it. The new scale measures me at 5'10" which is 189 pounds. I found this out well in advance of the test date but man did I have to study hard for this one. I never thought losing 5 pounds would be such a bitch. So now I am resolved to get to 180 and hover. This leaves me a good buffer and I feel a bit more healthy that way.

BTW- I have a project due in the morning. My son and I went to the studio this evening and ate creative food (chewy chips ahoy, mixed nuts, doritos, and soda, coke if you're from the south). I got the project done on time.

Notice how Blair only posts when you talk about him. Such an ego on that boy.

I'm sorry Bud, Happy Birthday.

Did you check into long-term care insurance?

As for the rambling, sorry it was late and a long day.

No, please. Talk about anything except me turning 40.

Can't I just turn 20 a second time and call it even?

Speaking of 20, as I was driving to work today, I drove past your old apt on 4th Ave. Still looks as cruddy as it did then. I wonder if the giant dancing crabs are still running around in Scott's old bedroom.
