Learning to Play Guitar

New postby Bud » Wed Sep 28, 2011 10:56 pm

OK, I want to collect links to things that can help a person learn to play guitar. So, I guess the first thing I should put here is a link to my guitar instructor's web site.

http://www.pointstudiosguitarlessons.com/

After that, Dallas showed me something really cool the other day and I want to capture it here.

More to follow as I capture them.

Check this out.

A little below tempo, but not too bad, considering.

Give it time. It's downloading a wave file. It's not huge, but it's not small either.

... Just shut up. :roflmao:

I gather by the complete and utter silence that you didn't hear the voice in your head that I did when I read back what I'd wrote, "It's not huge, but it's not small either". I immediately thought, "that's what she said".

:roflmao:

My apologies if the voices in my head have offended you.

I've seen it and photographed it.
And, no I'm not comparing it to my thumb.

I just can't get the file to download on my old clunker here,
so I'll have to sign on Audrey's computer.

I believe Bill is still "away" so he may not have had time to sign on.

It's a wave file, so it's bigger than it needs to be. I'll make an MP3 and post it instead. That should solve the problem. It's really not that exciting, to anybody but me.

It's way below tempo and it only took me a couple of dozen tries to get through the riff once without errors, but thank you.
