I am a software engineer who works on embedded firmware, system code, and device drivers (see my resume). This type of software is very low-level (close to the hardware) and most people are not very familiar with it.

As far as hobbies go, I play at web development, application development, and the sort of software with which most people are more familiar. I am an automotive enthusiast who enjoys amature competitions such as autocross, rallycross, and the occasional track day. I am also a bit of a gamer, playing both computer games and non-computer games (including outdoor games like golf).
